How To Connect Groups & Vision

How to Connect Your UC Group to Your Vision Channel 🎥

Follow these simple steps to showcase your UC Vision Channel videos directly within your UC Townsquare group:

  1. Go to Your Townsquare Group
    Navigate to the specific UC group where you want to add the Vision channel.

  2. Click the “Manage” Tab
    In your group’s menu, click on the “Manage” tab to access your group’s settings.

  3. Access “Vision Channel Settings”
    Under Manage Settings, find and select the “Vision Channel Settings” tab.

  4. Enable the Vision Channel Tab
    Check the box that says “Enable the Vision Channel tab for this group” to allow your members to see your Vision videos directly within the group.

  5. Enter Your Vision Channel ID
    Your Vision Channel ID is located in the URL bar when you visit your channel. Look for the part after the “@” symbol.
    For example, if your URL looks like this:
    /channel/channel-id/@polktech/
    You would enter @polktech into the Vision Channel Username text field.

  6. Choose Your Group’s Privacy Settings
    Select the privacy setting that best fits your group:

    • Public: Anyone who visits your group can access your Vision Channel tab. (This applies only to public groups—private groups are not visible to non-members.)

    • Members Only: Only group members will be able to view the Vision Channel tab. You can control membership access through the other settings tab to manage who can join your group.
