Descriptions:

Revelation becomes easy to understand when you accept: 1. the imminent time texts – “shortly” “soon” “no more delay”, etc… 2. the tale of two cities / wives as two covenants, 3. the use of symbolic and apocalyptic language, 4. the judgment of the “Great City” symbolically called Egypt / Babylon is old covenant Jerusalem “where the Lord was slain”, 5. the events at the end of the millennium of Rev. 20:7-13 have already been recapitulated in chapters 1-19 and 21-22 and are those pointing to AD 70. This and let the rest of the NT tell you when the events of Rev. 20:7-12 would be fulfilled. In this study we look more at identifying the judgment of Babylon being the time when the millennium ended.

  1. Interesting… not sure i agree with all of it. I think the divorce actually happened at the cross… that entire passion was the law of divorce as written in the Torah. So, not sure how the divorce and remarriage could’ve happened in 70ad.
